Catch-all Multiple TO: email addresses

by

How do I setup multiple email accounts?

For no additional charge other than the cost of your domain name you get a 1GB space email address that you can set-up a 'catch all'

A catch-all email account is an address that is specified to receive all messages that are addressed to an incorrect email address for a domain. For example, you have three email addresses set up for coolexample.com; info@coolexample.com, sales@coolexample.com, and webmaster@coolexample.com, you can set up info@coolexample.com as a catch-all email account. Then, any email messages sent to manager@coolexample.com (or any other invalid email address), are sent to the catch-all account (info@coolexample.com). ...

EMAIL FROM CUSTOMER: ...I am trying to add another email address for ...and Earthgrid support tells me it has no record of my web hosting account, that it was entered under another name, they only have a record of my domain name account....addresses...

ANSWER:  PowerSites is a completely different system from E-mail. It is Software-as-a service and our support for it is managed by a different department.  Basically, all services except for PowerSites are supported by our staff 24/7 at 480-624-2500.  So they don't know of the existence of your Powersite. I checked my on-line bank site this morning and it isn't showing up under my Visa. I don't want to have my site go down for lack of payment. With the long weekend I'm somewhat concerned. When do you process payments? I'm hoping this is just an overlap.

A:our policy is to suspend the site from 'editing' mode when a payment lapses - the system does this automatically. We won't delete the site or shut it down from the public until after 60 days of non payment. ...

The Difference between 'Free' and Subscription based services.

Question: why do you charge for your services whereas other CMS (content management systems) such as Wordpress, Joomla or OS Commerce are free?

Answer:  Those other services are NOT actually Free. If you look at the definition of 'Open Source' it means two things.  First of all it is free-of charge if you are using your website for non-commercial purposes.  Secondly, and this is the clincher, any modifications to the source code are supposed to be made 'open' so that other people can also have access to your source.  That is the meaning of 'Open Source'

This means that if you customize ...

by

The 'Login' link on the blog page. This is a standard feature of the blog. To remove the Login link on the page requires a special HTML snippet.  The purpose of the Login is to allow other Earthgrid users to quickly post into your forum. It is a common practice among blogging sites to do this - for example Google's 'Blogger.com' does exactly the same thing as do other blogging networks.  This allows search engines also to refer 'back' to the person who posted in the blog and increases your overall search engine presence. Also we give people a free web page at earthgrid.com whenever they post in your blog.

But it can be disabled with a custom HTML snippet. Once it is installed, your users will only be able to post ...
